Sparta Earn a Logo

After 3 seasons of wooden spoons, my indoor soccer team finally showed some form and managed to win as many games as we lost this season!

In anticipation of an even better showing next season, I designed a logo – something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the motivation.

Sparta FC

UPDATE … It looks more menacing in one colour, with sharper edges and all grunged up – as if we’ve been to war!

SpartaFC Grunge

UPDATE 2 … Looks great on our team shirts too.

Wycliffe Postcards

We’re currently working on some new projects for Wycliffe Australia, including promotional material and website functionality.

Below are some postcards we just finished – aimed at involving and engaging various target audiences in what Wycliffe are doing.

Tasty Invitation

I’ve never been to a pig roast, but it sounds awesome and looks even better thanks to this great invitation (by McMillian + Furlow, via FPO). The fun type treatment and casual wording really sell this for me, though I’d have liked to see a more interesting print method such as letterpress or screen printing. More here.

Liquorice allsorts

A great idea for business cards from design studio Liquorice (some of whom are former RMIT classmates of mine).

In their words: Each card is triplexed with an ‘Allsorts’ colour sandwiched with black, screen-printing the outside layers produced a great tactile finish.
