Be Glad

We were commissioned to design this poster as a gift to the kid’s of our church. The brief was: ‘something pretty colourful and cool as opposed to all the options on the market at the moment!’

We added cute and humorous and came up with this …

Much Needed Update

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been nearly nine months since my last blog post!

My excuse is that I’ve been busy, but in truth I’ve mostly just been slack (and focusing on other things).

Let me give you a brief visual update on some of the work I’ve been doing of late. In the grid below you’ll find websites, logos and publications.

Typographic Verses

A couple months ago one of my designs was featured on typographic verses.

I originally designed the piece to be projected onto a wall for an easter church service. Anyway, here it is…

Busy, busy, busy

We’ve been super busy lately, hence the lack of activity on here. So I thought I’d give a quick update on some of the work we’ve been doing…

The last few months have brought plenty of variety, including design work for (from top to bottom, left to right): magazines, jerseys, websites, corporate collateral, social media, plus some photography and heaps more.

Peanut buttery goodness

Ok, so after a much needed break we’re back and ready to go for another year! There are heaps of jobs already underway, some of which I will share in the coming weeks / months.

Im currently working on a fun project for a friend of mine – designing the label for his home made peanut butter!

I’ve decided to go for a retro, two-colour, silk-screen look – to help emphasise the home made and all natural qualities of the product. Here is a concept – what do you think?

Wycliffe Postcards

We’re currently working on some new projects for Wycliffe Australia, including promotional material and website functionality.

Below are some postcards we just finished – aimed at involving and engaging various target audiences in what Wycliffe are doing.

Farmified Invitations

My son is turning 2 (crazy, I know!) so my wife and I put our creative minds together and came up with the idea for these cute little invitations.

The party will be held at a farm so… we found some plastic farm animals, tied tags with party details to them, and voila. There’s even a handy map on the back.

It’s a boy!

We’re proud to welcome the newest member of the Kaleidoskope team – Chase Franklin, born May 17th.

To commemorate this new life, I designed and produced these baby announcements to send out to relatives and friends. Of course, being a designer, I wanted them to be a little different. I decided to give them a bit of a circus flavour, and quickly settled on the elephant as a mascot. I created Continue Reading →
